1978 LAST SERIES MKIV DOUBLE RED SEADWELLER Ref 1665

Exceptional, 1978 last series Rolex Double Red Seadweller 1665. The original dial is mint and free of wear or tool marks. The tritium has aged to a beautiful egg shell patina and the hands match perfectly. The bezel insert is stunning offering a progressive dark blue fading inside out. The case has been very lightly polished and retains thick equal lugs and bevelled edges. The movement was recently serviced by our in house professional watchmaker. The original back case is free also in excellent condition. (Not the very last serie of the Double Red Seadwellers did not have the case´s serial number engraved in the inside of its back case. The correct matching Rolex Oyster bracelet is in very good condition, reference 93150 with correct 585 end links, with an H clasp code. The Double Red Seadweller is certainly one of the most iconic vintage Rolex Sports models and finding them in such condition has become very difficult. Additional pictures will be posted soon.
