The thick and even case was recently polished showing sharp prominent bevels and only very light wear from use. The bezel is also in excellent condition with an intact sunburst finish. The original Mk5 dial is in very good condition with original tritium indexs and hands offering a nice even cream patina. The watch is equipped with its original Oyster bracelet, reference 78360-580, with a 1983 date code. Avant-garde, striking, and distinctly 70’s the Rolex 1655 is about as fun as a tool watch gets.
